Phyllis Lee Davis

Phyllis Lee Davis was born on August 26, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late James and Evelyn Lee. During her childhood, her family moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she was educated in the public school system and built the foundation for a life of service, faith, and love. Phyllis dedicated much of her professional life to caring for others. She began her career at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, where her dedication and leadership led her to the role of lead supervisor. Later, she worked as a nursing assistant at Leader Nursing Home, where she faithfully served residents for more than 20 years. Her commitment to her work reflected her compassion and heart for helping those in need until her retirement. Phyllis was united in marriage to the late Hardy Davis III, and from this union came two children who became the pride and joy of her life. Family was her greatest treasure, and she lovingly embraced her role as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of love that binds generations together. A woman of deep and abiding faith, Phyllis was a devoted member of Trinity Church of God for over 30 years. She gave of her time, talents, and heart in service to the Lord and her church family. She was also actively involved in the Allison Hill Community Center, where her kindness and generosity touched countless lives. On September 4, 2025, Phyllis passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by love. She leaves to cherish her memory her two devoted children, Kevin Lee Davis and Stephanie Denise Davis; her loving grandson, Kevin Alexander Ray (Yolanda); three great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives, extended family members, church members, neighbors, and friends. To know Phyllis was to love her. She was a woman with a heart of gold, whose kindness and compassion left a lasting imprint on everyone she encountered.
