COVID-19 Update

A notice to our families

Wallace Funeral Directors offers services and support that are essential to many individuals. We will continue to serve our community in these complicated times. By monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and taking immediate action when needed, we are doing what we can to ensure the health and well-being of our staff, our community and families we are honored to serve. We are taking this situation seriously. Here are the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety at Wallace Funeral Directors.

Wallace Funeral Directors will continue to be proactive in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Pennsylvania State Government.

As with any virus or respiratory illness, good hygiene practices such as frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying at home and away from others when you are feeling ill are crucial in reducing the spread of illness. We encourage everyone to review the CDC website regarding COVID-19 for further information.

We are committed to caring for those in our community who have questions about an expected passing or assisting families who are experiencing the death of a loved one.

We are continuing to arrange and schedule funerals and cremation services. Appointment times for arranging funerals are offered to families in person, via telephone or by a video call for elderly and immune compromised individuals.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, some places of worship are suspending services, including funerals. We are working closely with families to help them navigate these challenges.

We will continue to make our chapel available for services. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we are sanitizing our facility before and after each service. In addition, we are able to provide webcasting, which enables the viewing of services held in our chapel over the internet.

Things are changing on a daily basis, and we will provide you with up to date information as it becomes available.

Please keep in mind that our recommendations and policies regarding COVID-19 safety will continue to evolve as the situation changes locally.

Wallace Funeral Directors is committed to supporting the health and well-being of the families we serve, our community and our staff.
