Lorraine Noon-Daley

With profound love and heartfelt remembrance, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who lived fully and loved deeply. Lorraine Noon-Daley, daughter of the late Sarah L. Thompson and Alex C. Thompson, was born on February 8, 1946, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Lorraine spent her formative years rooted in the values of family, love, and faith before later relocating to Pennsylvania, where she continued to build a beautiful and meaningful life. Lorraine graduated from the Middletown Area High School. She then worked at Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, formerly known as Dauphin County Home, from where she retired after many years of dedicated service. She served as a devoted foster parent for ten years, opening her home and heart to children in need. Through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering care, she touched countless lives and made a lasting impact on her community. Lorraine was a woman who truly loved life. Whether traveling to new places, enjoying a day of shopping, or bringing joy to every gathering with her lively spirit, she embraced every moment with zest and style. Her presence lit up every room, and she was both well-loved and deeply respected by all who knew her. On March 19, 2026, at eighty years of age, Lorraine peacefully departed this life, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Eleanor Pearson, and her brother, Curtis Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, Yvette Stump (Freddie), Brigitt Pattillo (Eric), Hope Mitchell, Charles Noon, and Gary Noon; her siblings, Barbara Bair (Victor) and Louise Harris; her best friend, Bernadine Woodley; her two stepdaughters; her sixteen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; her two godchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her love and legacy.
