Kelly J. Arrington

On July 13, 1962, Charlotte Arrington and Joe Miller gave birth to a bundle of joy whom they named Kelly! Growing up in an Allison Hill neighborhood, Kelly is lovingly remembered by everyone to be a real sweetheart who was full of laughter and love. Kelly was educated in the Harrisburg School District, proudly graduating from Harrisburg High School in 1980. Kelly was an employee of the Harrisburg Hospital until she retired. Many things brought a smile to Kelly’s face and in her heart: a few being her family, cooking delicious food, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, traveling, especially to visit her “home away from home” in Texas with her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters. Her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys playing games on her tablet and spending time with family/friends. Kelly was a natural caregiver, loving others unconditionally, providing a temporary safe haven for family and friends who were in need, advocating and cheering on the successes for not only her two children but for all the young people in Kelly’s world . The recipients of Kelly’s love will always know that they were loved and be forever blessed. On Sunday, September 26, 2021 at fifty-nine years of age, Kelly departed this life joining in eternal life her parents, sister Cheryl Arrington, nephew Tyron Arrington and brother Terry Miller. Kelly leaves many to cherish shared memories her son, Bryan Arrington and wife Kimberly; daughter, Erika Arrington; niece/daughter, Brittany Arrington; her granddaughters, Kailynn Arrington, Biancàe Arrington, D’Era Arrington, Kulani Arrington and Jah’Yae Arrington; grandson, James Washington Jr.; great-granddaughter, England Arrington-Folkes; brother, Norman Arrington Jr.; sisters Gina Arrington and Phyllis Arrington; paternal siblings Joseph Miller, Gary Miller, Jodenna Crawford, Elita Miller-Snyder and Todd Miller; special friend, Robert Nelson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, 5 godchildren, extended family, classmates and friends.
