Willie, son of the late Solomon Sanderfur and the late Irene Sanderfur, was born January 2, 1929, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he received his formal education. His employment path included the Mueller Company, Chattanooga, TN, and retirement from Capitol Products, Mechanicsburg, PA. Willie’s church affiliations were St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, Harrisburg, PA. On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, while at Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Harrisburg, PA, Willie passed from the labors of this journey into his reward of eternal life leaving to cherish many special memories his loving and devoted wife, Shirley Sanderfur of Harrisburg, PA; his brother John; sister Myrtle; children, Willena, Donald, Ronald, Wendy, Bennie, Barbara; numerous other relatives and friends in Chattanooga, TN; his step-children, Marcelle, Scott, Marvin; numerous other relatives and friends here in Harrisburg, PA; and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
