Ralph Lynn G. Brooks

“I’m so sorry I had to leave you here!” Ralph Lynn G. Brooks, was born Monday, December 17, 1956, in Harrisburg, PA, son of the late Howard Joseph Brooks and the late Albertine “Tina” Young-Brooks. Educated in the Harrisburg School District, Ralph retired as a supervisor from Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant (TMI), Middletown, PA. Ralph kept the same routine every morning. He loved watching TV, cooking, listening to old-school music, and the Dallas Cowboys were like life to Ralph as he was a true devoted fan. Ralph especially loved spending time with his wife Shana (His Queen). He loved to talk to his sisters and spend time with his great-nephews. He would always say, “I’m my brothers’ keeper.” Ralph is now guarding and taking care of his brothers. While at his home in Middletown, PA, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, God dispatched his angels to escort Ralph Lynn G. Brooks into eternal life joining his parents, his five brothers, Howard Brooks Jr., Darrell Greenslade, Conrad Greenslade, Ronnie Brooks, Morris Brooks; and one sister, Eleanor B. Stevenson. Ralph leaves to cherish many loving memories: his wife, Shana Brooks of Middletown, PA; two daughters, Kina Anderson and Teresa London, both of Harrisburg, PA; three sisters, Emma Brooks of Middletown, PA, Jeannie Brooks of Harrisburg, PA, and Debbie Greenslade of York, PA. Ralph’s life and legacy will also be cherished and honored by his grandchildren, Tyrai Anderson, Britanie Anderson, Treon London, Jamillah London, Anthony London, James London, Jayveior London and Sincere London who was “like-his-son;” eight great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Ralph will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends who were blessed to have shared a portion of his journey.
