Mr. Michael Aaron Evans-Turner

August 1, 1983 - February 25, 2019

Michael was born Monday, August 1, 1983, in Harrisburg, PA, son of Melanie Turner and the late Donald R. Evans Sr. Michael attended Steelton-Highspire High School, Harrisburg Area Community College, School for Culinary Arts, and was employed by ES3 Warehouse, York, PA. Michael’s church affiliation was St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Oberlin, PA, under the pastorate of Rev. Mim Harvey. Michael had plans and many goals for his life. If you knew him, you knew with his determination he would have accomplished these goals. He loved to have fun, and his contagious smile would light up any room he entered. Much of his spare time was spent writing poetry, dancing, enjoying comedy shows, traveling, playing and watching sports, especially the San Francisco 49ers and the LA Lakers. Foremost, and most importantly, Michael made sure he had time to enjoy close family, friends and BoroBoyz. On March 17, 2018, Michael met his beloved Christine; and on September 15th of that same year, Michael made Christine his wife. He dedicated his life to protecting and caring for his family and loved ones. If you needed help, Michael would give you his last dollar and offer you the shirt off his back. On Monday, February 25, 2019, at thirty-five years of age, Michael Aaron Evans-Turner departed this life breaking the hearts of his wife, Christine Evans-Turner; mother, Melanie Turner; grandparents, Helena and Meade; sons, Alyknan and Isaiah; daughter Trinity; brothers, Shawn Seif, Donald R. Evans Jr., Darien, Harrison, Keenan, Myles and Chance Evans-Turner and Donald Hill; sisters, Theresa Manns, Shakenya Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
