Maria Denise English, nicked named “Snuffy” aka better known to all as “Nucky”, daughter of the late Patricia and John English, was born on February 12,1969, in Harrisburg, PA. Maria’s educational path included graduation from Harrisburg High School, June 1987, and graduation from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Elizabeth Training Academy, November 22, 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from South University, September 10, 2002. Maria had training and certifications in various areas of her work. Leisurely, Maria enjoyed shopping, fashions, drinking coffee, watching movies, helping others as well as a good laugh and joking with her crazy sense-of-humor. While at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA, on Friday, May 20, 2022, at fifty-three years of age, Maria departed this life joining in eternal life her parents and her brother, Adrian Samuels. Maria is survived by her son, DeShawn English; grandson, Kamaro K. English; two sisters, Jamie Samuels and Reva English; brother, Johnny Robinson; God sister, Crystal Williams; special cousins, Janaya Urrutia and Ciara Drayton; bonus daughter, Dominique Davis; bonus granddaughter, Genesis Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family members and friends. Family and friends will miss Maria. Her life will forever be lovingly celebrated in the hearts of her loved ones.
