Dowayn Eldred Russell Jr., son of Dowayn Eldred Russell Sr. and Mimi Martinez Russell, was born Thursday, November 5, 1998 in Harrisburg, PA. Dowayn resided in Grantville, PA. Dowayn attended York High School, York, PA, and was employed by FedEx in Middletown, PA. Among his pleasurable pastimes were gaming, football, basketball, working on cars and stereos. In York, PA, on Monday, February 28, 2022, at twenty-three years of age, Dowayn departed this life leaving the hearts of his loving family and friends broken and saddened. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mercedes Martinez; great-grandfather, Blufus Russell; and sister, Shawnice Russell. Dowayn leaves to celebrate his life his wife, Sabrina Russell, daughter, Averyanna Russell, son, Jeremiah Russell, all of Grantville, PA; his father and mother, Dowayn Russell Sr. and Mimi Russell of Mount Carmel, PA; his siblings, Joseph Russell, Jayson Russell, Nayomie Russell, all of Mount Carmel, PA, Cieada Russell of Baton Rouge, LA, Dashawn Colon of Harrisburg, PA; grandmother, Arretta Thomas of Gadsden, AL; grandfather, John Martinez of Harrisburg, PA; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
