Darlene R. Wainwright Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Darlene R. Wainwright, daughter of the late Harold C. Anderson Sr. and the late Helen F. (Chatman) Anderson, was born Monday, September 19, 1955, in Harrisburg, PA. A graduate of Harrisburg High School, William Penn Campus, Darlene studied and became licensed in the field of cosmetology. She retired from Dauphin Manor Nursing Home, presently named Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab, after thirty-four years of service. Formerly united in Christian fellowship with New Hope Primitive Baptist Church, Darlene currently attended Martin Luther King Baptist Church. She was a member of the Harrisburg Flossy Posse, American Legion 420. Darlene’s pastimes included playing bingo, cards, and most importantly, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. At sixty-six years of age on Monday, June 13, 2022, Darlene joined in eternal life her parents, Harold and Helen Anderson; her husband, Charles Lee Wainwright; four brothers, Lynn N. Anderson, Harold C. Anderson II, James R. Anderson, Dana J. Chatman; and one sister, Betty Jackson. Darlene leaves fond memories and her love to her daughter, Kateasha Anderson; granddaughters, Kataysha Anderson, Quinetta Anderson and Kavina Anderson; great-grandchildren, Sa`Maya Anderson, Kaysaun Thomas, Sorrority Anderson, Raymond Jones Jr., Samarah Anderson, Manssa Anderson and Quincey Anderson; her siblings, Harold C. Anderson III, Christine A. Anderson, Denise L. Anderson, Vernon D. Anderson and Russell H. Anderson; as well as other family members and friends.
