Suzanne Dillon Williams

Suzanne Dillon Williams was born on Saturday, February 28, 1970, in Harrisburg, PA, to Vincent Keith Williams and Sarah Lee (Strickland) Williams, the second child from this union. Suzanne and her sister Laurie grew up in Edgemont (Susquehanna Township). They enjoyed summers at the Edgemont Swimming Pool with their cousins, Stephanie and Stacey. Her early education began at the Paxton Presbyterian Nursery School and continued at Progress Elementary School, Ben Franklin Elementary School and Marshall (Math and Science Academy). Suzanne graduated from Harrisburg High School, John Harris Campus, and Penn State University, University Park Campus, where she made long-lasting friendships. Suzanne worked for Delta Dental in Camp Hill, PA, and previously worked for Book of the Month Club (BOMC) where she also made numerous long-lasting loving friends. A happy place where Suzanne thoroughly enjoyed was vacationing at the condo in Ocean City, MD, and she would often invite family and friends to join her. She enjoyed sunsets on the Bay and going to the beach. During the summer months she also enjoyed hanging out at Nana Sandy’s pool with family. Suzanne was an avid gardener and photographer. She often shared photos of her flowers, sunsets and Christmas trees. Suzanne adored Christmas and decorated extensively. She would often host Christmas parties for family and friends. Attending and hosting paint parties, a fondness for African American Art, visiting Pennsylvania wineries, attending wine festivals, and going out to dinner with friends and family were also among her many passions. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of fifty-five, Suzanne departed this life. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Ann Dillon Williams; and her cousin Stephanie (deceased January 7, 2025). Suzanne leaves to cherish sweet memories her parents, Vincent Keith and Sarah Lee Williams of Harrisburg, PA; sister, Laurie B. Williams of Bowie, MD; aunts, Judi Williams of Cleveland, OH, Joyce Lawrence (Larry), Alma Allen (Wayne) and Sonyetta Strickland, all of Hartford, CT, Rhonda Alexander (Joe) of Bloomfield, CT, Sandy Davis and Renee L. Hartford, both of Harrisburg, PA; uncle, Rodger Strickland of Hartford, CT; twin godchildren, Matthew Lamont Davis and Mykia Janelle Morrison; cousins, Madeline T. Washington, Therese LeMelle Kenley, Leonard LeMelle, James Williams IV, Meleia Williams, Robert Carter, Isreal Carter, Madeline Williams, Charles Lemelle, Yvette Davis, Dillon Mitchel, Elise LeMelle, Austin James Williams and James Williams V, all of Harrisburg, PA, Stephen LeMelle of Atlanta, GA, Angela Williams of Red Lion, PA, Kimberley Davis of Laurel, MD, Danyielle and Richard Davis of Enola, PA, Stacey Stancil, Stephen Lawrence, Larry Strickland, Casey Stancil, Allen Joseph, Alexander Joseph, Amber-Ann Joseph, Alphonso Joseph, all of Hartford, CT, Cierra Stancil of Meriden, CT, Sherri Lawrence and Lynette Annemarie Cange, both of Bloomfield, CT, Mark and Erin Johnson of York, PA, along with many loving friends and co-workers. Suzanne will be greatly missed for her loving nature and sunshine smile.
