Mr. Samuel Gaither

Samuel Gaither Samuel Gaither, 72, of Gettysburg, entered eternal life January 5, 2014, while at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Son of the late Robert Gaither Sr. and Emma Monk Gaither, he was born July 16, 1941, in Steelton, and attended Steelton-Highspire High School. Mr. Gaither’s employment history included Firestone Tire Company, Evans Beer Distribution, W & L Beer Distribution as well as being an entrepreneur. His fraternal affiliations included the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #1526, Gettysburg; Ephraim Slaughter American Legion, Post 733; Improved Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks of the World, Cyrene Lodge #169, Esteemed Lecturing Knight, Esteemed Leading Knight, Exalted Ruler, as well as numerous national positions as where he was Assistant to the Grand Esteemed Lecturing Knight . He was also a member of Charles P. McClane National Shrine of Central PA. Mr. Gaither leaves to cherish many special memories his wife, Kathy A. Williams of Gettysburg; daughter, Cathy Geary Wilson (Steve) of Highpoint, NC; son, Christopher Gaither; sister, Roberta Thompson; brother, Robert Gaither Jr. (Beverly M.), all of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Ronyay Lee, Jeffery Geary, Marlana Geary; great grandsons, Ronyay Lee Jr. and Julius Geary; other relatives and friends.
