Ricky Alfred Roberts

Ricky Alfred Roberts was born on June 30, 1959, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Fred Roberts Sr. and the late Blanche Roberts. Ricky attended Steelton Elementary and Steelton-Highspire High Schools before later earning his GED. He went on to work for Keystone Cab Company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he dedicated many years before retiring. Ricky had a deep love for classic and antique collectible cars and enjoyed drag racing. He cherished spending quality time with his family and was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved all 70s and R&B music and often jokingly said he was a retired member of the Players’ Club. Ricky will be remembered for his sense of humor, his laughter, and the great joy he brought to his loved ones. He was a classic man who worked hard to provide for his family and friends and will forever have a memory engraved in our hearts, as well as in Harrisburg, because if you needed a ride, Rick Reno was your guy. On Sunday, April 26, 2026, Ricky peacefully departed this life at his home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, at sixty-six years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Roberts Sr. and Blanche Roberts; his son, Terelle Thomas; his brothers, Fred Roberts Jr., Leonard Roberts Sr., and Ronald Roberts; his sister, Roseann Latimore; and his twin sister, Vicky Roberts. He leaves precious memories and love to his daughters, Sherelle Thomas Massey and Bre’anna Wainwright; his son, Ricky Roberts Jr.; his partner, Kathy Hartford; his stepson, Hakim Hartford; his stepdaughters, Linda Thomas-Johnson, Tonyka Lugaro, and Latasha Thomas; his stepson, Derrick Thomas; his sisters, Betty Reid and G. Alice Pinnock; his grandchildren, Dasani Ritter, Rey’elle Thomas, Telani Thomas, Ala’sianna Wainwright, Shakyra Thomas, Shanice Thomas, and his great-grandson, Legend Moore. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
