Ivi Renee Clements

On Monday, August 7, 2023, God gracefully called Ivi Renee Clements home to eternal rest. Ivi was born on March 21, 1991 in Chambersburg, PA to George and Paula Clements. Ivi was a 2009 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, was pursuing her Bachelor's degree in graphic design from Miami International University of Art and Design, and most recently accepted a new position with the PA State Board of Nursing. Ivi was a member of Harambee United Church of Christ/Kingdom Embassy. During her younger years, Ivi was an active member of Saturday Church Cultural School and the Barack Youth Choir. She also performed in the MAAFA as well as the Praise Corp. Ivi carried her love for singing into adulthood, and most recently shared her beautiful voice at The Singer’s Lounge. In addition to singing, Ivi has been artistic her whole life and made sure to share her love of drawing and painting with her girls. If you knew Ivi, you know that she was truly a girl’s girl at heart! Not only did she support her friends and family, but she was encouraging to anyone she met, even if you only had a brief interaction with her, that was enough to experience her love and light. Ivi truly loved being a mother not only to her three girls but to any child that may have been in need. She loved creating memories with her loved ones by taking a million pictures and hosting gatherings at her home. Her famous fried chicken will be missed almost as much as she will. Ivi leaves behind to cherish her memory, her life partner, Allen Harris; her three beautiful girls, Aiden, Avery and August—lovingly known as “The A-Team” of Steelton, PA; her parents, George and Paula Clements of New Cumberland, PA; her older sister and best friend, Mia Clements of Enola, PA; her maternal grandmother, Johnnie H. Jackson of Bakersfield, CA.; maternal aunt and uncle, five paternal aunts and three paternal uncles, her closest friend, Rita Fair (Robert) of Wichita Falls, TX, and a host of other sister(s)/friends too numerous to list. Ivi was preceded in death by her soul sister/best friend, Cori Sisti; paternal grandparents, Carl and Lillie Clements; her maternal grandfather, Edward E Jackson, Sr.; two maternal uncles and a maternal aunt, three paternal uncles and three paternal aunts. To say that Ivi will be missed is an understatement. She touched so many lives during her brief time on earth and, most recently through organ donation. If you ever had the pleasure to meet Ivi, may her spirit live on when you think of her and may the memories bring a smile to your face. God may have had other plans, but Ivi’s friends and family will forever cherish memories, and her light will remain on earth.
