Ms. Delores Sellers

The Obituary Delores (Mosley) Sellers Delores “Toot” (Mosley) Sellers was born on February 17, 1946, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She attended the Steelton Public School District and received her diploma from the Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) in Harrisburg. Delores was an employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Liquor Control Board. She retired as a Clerk Typist II in 1995 with more than twenty-five years of service. At an early age, Delores accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the Beulah Baptist Church, Steelton, PA. She later attended the former McCullough Memorial Church in Harrisburg. There she was a member of the Missionary Board and served in the kitchen on many, many occasions. Later in life in September, 1996, she returned to her home church, Beulah Baptist, where she was a faithful member supporting its ministries. Delores met and later married the late David R. Sellers on April 26, 1975. They were married for seven years before his passing on October 7, 1982. With her love of cooking, she enjoyed watching cooking shows and writing her own recipes. In addition to her husband, Delores was preceded in death by one sister, Caroline Mosley. She transitioned from this earthly journey on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Colonial Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to cherish precious memories of her: her mother, Gloria Daniels of Harrisburg; four daughters, Rose Richardson and D’Juan Zerbe, both of Harrisburg, Angie Simpson of Virginia, and Gloria Wallace of Steelton; two sons, Shawn Mosley and David Mosley, both of Harrisburg; two sisters, Inez Smithson of Virginia, and Shirl Bratcher Howard of Harrisburg; six brothers, Eugene Mosley, Earl Mosley and Donald Mosley, all of Harrisburg, Johnny Mosley of North Carolina, Dale Mosley of Steelton, and Jessie Raye of New York; nineteen grandchildren, James, Steven, Terri, Ra’Mel, Sha’Day, LaToya, Nayla, Darius, Collette, Kenneth, Pisces, Coya, Asia, DaWayne, Kalliah, Davion, Diavionni, Naafiysh and Zaakir; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Submitted With Love, The Family Her life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 10th, at Beulah Baptist Church, 100 Livingston Street, Steelton, with viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. and interment at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
