    Mrs. Nelvena Wyvonia Richardson (Simpson)

    August 16, 1940 - February 22, 2018

    Nelvena was born Friday, August 16, 1940 in Seneca, South Carolina, daughter of Addis Simpson and Bessie Mae Simpson (Williams). She retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot as a Computer Analyst. Nelvena was a faithful member of United House of Prayer for All People, and she loved to travel, sing and play the piano. A resident of Harrisburg, PA, for many years, Nelvena and her family relocated to Tampa, Florida. On Thursday, February 22, 2018, at her home in Tampa, at seventy-seven years of age, Nelvena entered into eternal rest joining in eternal life her parents, Addis and Bessie Simpson, her brothers, Larry “Fuzzo” Simpson, Edgar Simpson, Odell R. Simpson, and her granddaughter, Bre`Anna Keller. She leaves to share treasured memories her husband, Floyd S. Richardson Sr. of Tampa, FL; two sons, Waymond Richardson of West Palm Beach, FL, and Floyd (Lesa) Richardson Jr. of Newport News, VA; two daughters, Vennicee (Talmas) Washington-Wanamaker and Tamara Richardson of Tampa; one brother, Darrell Simpson of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Vennicee Brice, Jeanette (Steve) Pearson and Nannette Swanson, all of Harrisburg, PA; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
