Affectionately known as “Sissy” by family and friends, Marion received her formal education in the Mechanicsburg Public School District; and after thirty years of faithful service, she retired from the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot as a naval supply clerk. On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, in her eighty-ninth year, Sister Marion passed from the labors of this journey into her reward of eternal life joining her parents and six siblings, Doris Knight, Edith Dade, Elaine Spencer, Hardy Davis Jr, Elizabeth Green and Clarkson Davis. Sister Marion leaves not to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life remembering good times and even some challenging times one son, Donald (Kim) Davis of Upper Marlboro, MD; one daughter, Reverend Sheila Thompson of Harrisburg, PA; two granddaughters, Jenelle Davis of Bowie, MD, Stacey (Star) Shahuri of Upper Marlboro, MD; one grandson, Alan (Vika) Logan of Greensboro, NC; three bonus granddaughters, eighteen great-grandchildren; her devoted friends, Deaconess Juanita Smith, Richelle Felton and Jeffrey Oglesby; as well as a host of other relatives, friends and her Macedonia Church Family. “Well Done, Thou Good and Faithful Servant: Thou Hast Been Faithful Over A Few Things, I Will Make Thee Ruler Over Many Things; Enter Into The Joy of The Lord.” Lovingly Submitted by the Family of Marion L.
