Mannie was born Wednesday, June 24, 1953, in Harrisburg, PA, son of the late Mannie W. Bullock Sr. and the late Shirley M. Jackson Dickens. Known as “Skip” by family and friends, Mannie was educated in the Harrisburg School District where he graduated from the former John Harris High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and retired from Johnathan Clark’s Cleaning Service, Harrisburg. Among his pastimes were playing cards, cooking, listening to jazz music, watching old movies from western to horror movies and enthusiastically supporting his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at his Harrisburg home in his sixty-fifth year, Mannie transitioned from this life into eternal life joining his parents; father, Clifton Dickens; sister, Darlene Jackson; and other loved ones. Loving memories will be cherished in the hearts of his daughter, Alise Nicole Macon of Harrisburg, PA; eight siblings, Deborah Djibrilla of Bethlehem, PA, Janice Dickens, Patricia Ndiaye, Sandra Coles, Delores Curry, Wayne Curry, Clifton Dickens Jr., Patrick Sessions, all of Harrisburg; four grandchildren; his favorite cousin, Amanda Jackson; best friends, Pork and Andrea Gwynn; other relatives and friends.
