Leola Brown, daughter of the late James and Obalee (Wallace) Gardner, was born Thursday, January 15, 1948, in West Virginia. Leola retired from the Hershey Company, Hershey, Pennsylvania. She loved to shop and watch cooking shows and QVC on television. At her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at seventy-four years of age, Leola departed this life joining in eternal life her parents; her husband, Charles Brown aka “Sugar;” daughter, Tracy Clemons; and son, Benjamin L. Clemons. Irreplaceable memories will be cherished by her daughter, Detra Gonzalez; grandchildren, Jamauri and Brianna Ramsey, Alayzia and Makayia Ware; siblings, Ramona Carr (Rodney), Martha Brown, Mary Belcher, Karen Gardner (Bernard Westbrook), Mary Ann Gardner, Donnie Gardner, Jim Gardner (Betty) and Kim Gardner (Malee); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
