Lakeya Marie Taylor

July 24, 1981 - February 23, 2022

Lakeya was born Thursday, July 24, 1981, in Harrisburg, PA, daughter of LeAndrew Taylor and the late Mary Louise Crankfield. Educated in the Harrisburg School District, Lakeya was employed by Country Inn and Suites, Harrisburg. Among her most enjoyable pastimes and activities were traveling, cooking, line dancing, watching her favorite TV shows, especially the ID Channel, trying her luck with the PA Lottery Scratch Off Tickets and spending time with her family and friends. On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at forty years of age, Lakeya completed her earthly journey joining her mother in eternal life. Loving memories will be cherished by her spouse, Jason Green; father, LeAndrew Taylor; children, Alayjah Taylor, Dayjah Taylor, Darrell Meredith Jr. and Jayden Green; her granddaughter, Juliana Taylor; grandson, Atreus Oxceva; siblings, Maria Kellum (Pierre), Zia Crankfield (Bash), Tia Crankfield (Kenny) and LeAndrew Taylor Jr. Lakeya’s memory will also be honored and cherished by her nieces and nephews, Jaquan Kellum, India Kellum, Devion Crankfield, Nasir Enoch, Lael Hagy, Lanae Hagy, Mary Crankfield and Aaliyah Barnes; her best friend, Sherri Brown; as well as other family members and friends.
