John A. Brooks

November 20, 1955 - March 27, 2022

John A. Brooks, son of Jacob Brooks and Catherine (Cuff) Washington, was born Sunday, November 20, 1955, in Carlisle, PA. While at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA, on Sunday, March 27, 2022, John transitioned from time to eternity at sixty-six years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James Brooks, and sister, Celestine Forney. John leaves to celebrate his life four sisters, Kathleen Banks, Diane Thomas, both of Harrisburg, PA, Jean Terry of Charlotte, NC, and Laurie Sinclair of Harrisburg; two brothers, Eugene Graves of Hagerstown, MD, Nathaniel Washington of Harrisburg; five generations of nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
