Essie W. House, daughter of the late Arthur Wilson and the late Mamie Chisholm Wilson, was born November 10, 1933, in South Carolina. She retired from the Commonwealth of PA. At eighty-five years of age while at her home in Camp Hill, PA, on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, Essie passed from labor to reward joining in eternal life her parents, one brother, James “June” Wilson, and one sister, Shirley Simmons. She leaves to cherish and honor her legacy four sons, Gene Brown (Glenda) of Harrisburg, PA, Gary L. House (Davena) of Sacramento, CA, Steve D. House (Tina) of Camp Hill, PA, and Leon Christopher House Sr. of New Cumberland, PA; three sisters, Emma “Ruth” Saxton of Harrisburg, PA, Geraldine Johnson and Bonnie Shroyer, both of Steelton, PA; brother, Reggie Doyle of Middletown, PA; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family members and friends.
