Dion Jamir Blackburn, son of Darin J. Blackburn and Tamia Singleton, was born Wednesday, January 9, 2002, in Harrisburg, PA. Dion was an honor roll graduate of Harrisburg High School. He loved playing video games, music, being the life-of-the-party and was an avid basketball fan, especially Duke University and Kevin Durant. Dion was a loving and devoted brother, uncle and friend to his sister, brothers, niece and his best friends. Dion departed this life on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at twenty years of age joining in eternal life his grandmother, Dione Duncan; and his grandfather, Jeffrey Singleton Sr. He leaves pain and deep sorrow in the hearts of his parents, Darin Blackburn and Tamia Singleton; his brothers, Tamir Williams and Elijah Watlington; sister, D`Era Arrington; niece, England Arrington-Folkes; his paternal grandfather, Darin J. Blackburn Sr.; paternal grandmother, Loretta Blackburn; maternal great-grandfather, Jasper Folkes; maternal great-grandmother, Mary E. Wright; paternal great-grandfather, Claude Caine Jr.; paternal great-grandmother, Frances Blackburn-Caine; his uncles, Jeffrey Singleton, Donnell Blackburn, Tyler Blackburn, Tarajah S. Hunter; as well as other family members and friends. Dion’s memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who dearly loved him.
