Apostle Cynthia Kwofie Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Apostle Cynthia Kwofie-Taylor was born on February 26, 1966, in Danville, VA. She was the only daughter of the late Frank Adams Jr. and her loving mother Shirley Adams. Apostle Cynthia was affectionately called “Cynt” or “Cyd” by those who were closest to her. On April 4, 2022, the Adams family lost another staple in the family when she was reunited with her father Elder Frank Adams Jr. in heaven. Apostle Cynthia Kwofie-Taylor attended St. Patrick Grammar School and Lincoln High School in NJ and was recently continuing her education as a student of the Nurse-RN program at HACC. She was known for being vibrant, outspoken, full of life and always the fashionista. She would always express how much she loved and was proud of her family, even in the toughest of times. With the voice of an angel, a song from Cynthia was always a blessing. Cynthia was raised to love God and eventually dedicated her life to keeping her family and community rooted in the word of God. This calling led her to start the church “One Voice International” in 2016, where she would devote her time to provide moral, spiritual, personal, and religious guidance to members of her congregation. In recent years, Cynthia relocated to Georgia along with her children, grandchildren, and mother, where she continued to dedicate her time to preaching the word of God. She was even known to go live on Facebook to touch souls with the loving word of God. Apostle Cynthia Kwofie-Taylor is survived by her doting mother, Shirley Adams; her four children, Drayon Chism of San Antonio, TX; Ryan Adams of Atlanta, GA; Tamara Adams of Atlanta, GA; and Donnie Newsome of Harrisburg, PA. She also leaves four devoted brothers, Dwight L. Adams Sr. (wife, Wendy) of Harrisburg, PA; Franklyn A. Adams Sr. of Harrisburg, PA; Pastor Darren K. Adams Sr. of Harrisburg, PA; and Roger E. Adams Sr. of Harrisburg, PA. In addition, she leaves fifteen grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
