Christobal Torres Colon, son of Eleanor Torres and Miguel Colon, was born Tuesday, November 25, 1941, in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. Christobal retired from Pace University, New York, NY. Famous for his James Brown moves, he found joy and contentment in playing the guitar, shooting pool, dominoes, soft fall ball, boxing, competitive dancing (salsa) and drinking beer. On Monday, June 22, 2020, at seventy-eight years of age, while at the Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA, Christobal transitioned from this life into eternal life. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Frances Colon of Camp Hill, PA; his children, Gloria Sorrentini, Luis Garcia, Wesly Colon, Lee Colon, Debbie Colon-Newman, Leslie Colon, all of Bronx, NY. Christobal’s legacy will also be honored by his grandchildren, Melissa Sayre of Bronx, NY, Jazlin Colon of Jersey City, NJ, Seth T. Sorrentini of Bronx, NY, Lee Colon Jr. of Altus, OK, Julie Malave, Ricky Malave, both of Harrisburg, PA, Kenneth Colon Jr., Rosie Colon, Angel Colon, Sasha Colon, all of Bronx, NY; other relatives and friends.
